About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Manager to lead the financial operations of a renowned construction and real estate development company in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in project accounting, cost control, and financial reporting, with a proven track record in managing accounting functions for large-scale, high-rise construction projects in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management & Reporting: Oversee daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial statements, and maintain compliance with IFRS and UAE regulatory standards.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead project-based budgeting, cost tracking, and cash flow forecasting while identifying areas for cost optimization and efficiency.

• Accounts & Compliance: Supervise Accounts Payable/Receivable, ensure VAT and corporate tax compliance, manage audits, and review financial terms in vendor and client contracts.

• Leadership & Controls: Mentor the accounts team, implement effective internal controls, and provide strategic financial insights to support management decision-making.

• Project Financial Oversight: Monitor project budgets, progress billings, and cost-to-complete reports to ensure profitability and financial transparency across all ongoing developments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (professional certifications such as ACCA or CPA preferred).

• 7+ years of experience in accounts or finance management within the UAE construction or real estate sector.

• Strong understanding of project accounting, cost control, and financial compliance.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.

• Solid knowledge of UAE VAT, taxation, and corporate compliance.

• Proven leadership and analytical skills with high attention to detail.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: Up to AED 25,000 per month (all-inclusive, based on experience).
