Job Role:
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Auditor to join our team in Dubai. As an Accounting Auditor, you will be responsible for evaluating and auditing financial statements, systems, and processes to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards. You will help maintain financial integrity within the company, assess internal controls, and provide actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct internal and external audits of financial statements and systems

• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls

• Review accounting records and ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory standards

• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and actionable recommendations

• Collaborate with various departments to assess financial risks and implement corrective actions

• Maintain documentation of audit procedures, working papers, and test results

• Identify potential fraud risks and report findings to senior management

• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and changes in accounting regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CIA preferred)

• 2-5 years of experience in accounting or auditing (public or internal)

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and audit procedures

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel

• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills

• High attention to detail and integrity

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with data analytics or audit automation tools

• Familiarity with risk-based audit methodologies

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
