Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with a strong background in the staffing and outsourcing industry to manage end-to-end accounting operations. The role involves handling VAT compliance, payroll, contracts, invoicing, and financial reporting in line with IFRS and UAE regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, compliance-driven, and capable of supporting management with financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Management

• Manage full-cycle accounting, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.

• Ensure audit readiness and coordinate with external auditors.

VAT, Payroll & Compliance

• Prepare and file UAE VAT returns in compliance with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.

• Handle WPS payroll processing and manage payroll for outsourced and contract staff.

• Calculate End of Service Benefits (ESOB) and other statutory employee obligations.

• Ensure compliance with UAE labor and financial regulations.

Contracts, Invoicing & Client Billing

• Prepare and manage client contracts, quotations, and invoices accurately and on time.

• Maintain timesheets for outsourced employees and ensure correct billing.

• Monitor receivables, follow up on outstanding payments, and support cash flow management.

Reporting & Management Support

• Liaise with banks, regulatory authorities, and auditors as required.

• Support management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

• Provide accurate financial data to support business decision-making.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 6–8 years of accounting experience, preferably within staffing, recruitment, or outsourcing companies.

• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws, filing procedures, and compliance.

• Hands-on experience with ESOB calculations and the WPS payroll system.

• Solid understanding of IFRS and general accounting principles.

• Experience preparing contracts, quotations, and invoices.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as Zoho Books, Tally, QuickBooks, or similar.

• Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
