Role Overview

TGC Consulting is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations for a UAE-based outsourcing and services organization. This role requires hands-on expertise across financial accounting, payroll & WPS, VAT compliance, client billing, reporting, and audit coordination, with strong knowledge of UAE regulations.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, compliance-focused, and experienced in managing accounting functions within a fast-paced services environment.


Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Operations

  • Manage the full accounting cycle including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.

  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closings.

  • Maintain general ledger integrity and complete financial documentation.

  • Handle inter-company transactions and monthly reconciliations.

Payroll & WPS

  • Process payroll for both internal staff and outsourced employees.

  • Prepare and submit WPS (SIF files) in line with UAE regulations.

  • Calculate and account for employee provisions including gratuity, leave salary, and statutory benefits in accordance with UAE Labour Law.

VAT & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT laws and FTA requirements.

  • Prepare, review, and file VAT returns and maintain supporting documentation.

  • Support VAT audits and respond to FTA queries accurately and on time.

Client Billing & Receivables

  • Generate monthly client invoices based on contracts, attendance, and service terms.

  • Monitor receivables, follow up on outstanding balances, and resolve billing discrepancies.

  • Issue credit notes and perform regular client account reconciliations.

Reporting, Budgeting & Analysis

  • Prepare financial reports including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, aging reports, and cost analysis.

  • Monitor project profitability, staff cost ratios, and budget vs. actual performance.

  • Support annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes.

Audit & Internal Controls

  • Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit schedules and documentation.

  • Maintain strong internal controls, reconciliations, and audit trails.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial best practices.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

  • ACCA qualified or part-qualified candidates preferred

  • 3–6 years of relevant UAE accounting experience (outsourcing or services industry preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, WPS, and Labour Law provisions

  • Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, or Zoho Books

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting

  • High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
