ENGIE, through its subsidiary Tractebel, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their Dubai team in a hybrid, full-time role. With over 5,600 passionate experts globally, Tractebel is a major international engineering company driving energy transition and sustainability. The ideal candidate will have experience in closing and reporting, strong ERP knowledge, and an eagerness to grow within one of the world’s leading energy groups.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and assist in budget monitoring.

Maintain and reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts.

Perform month-end closing activities including accruals, prepayments, and expense reports.

Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure accurate postings in accounting systems.

Supervise accounts receivable and payable with regular aging analysis.

Prepare cash flow forecasts and support both regional and group-level reporting.

Manage VAT and WHT submissions in line with Middle East regulatory requirements.

Support external audits and resolve financial discrepancies.

Oversee global payment transactions and petty cash handling.

Reconcile intercompany accounts across Tractebel’s global entities.

Apply IFRS standards and internal financial policies rigorously.

Ensure timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
-
Postgraduate degree (MBA, M.Com, CA, or ACCA).
Experience:
-
3–5 years in a General or Senior Accountant role.

Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, QuickBooks, or similar systems.
Skills:
-
Highly detail-oriented and organized.

Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems.

Capable of managing tasks under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, cross-border environment.
