Accountant – Finance & Reporting | Medical Equipment Trading | Dubai

Job Overview:
Diatech Trading & Maintenance is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our growing finance team in Dubai. This full-time role is ideal for someone with strong financial reporting skills and a deep understanding of accounting practices, who can ensure accurate financial management and support overall business operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate monthly and annual financial records, ensuring proper documentation of all transactions.

• Generate timely sales and inventory reports every two weeks for internal analysis.

• Compare actual expenditures with the budget and provide monthly variance analysis.

• Produce accurate, error-free accounting reports and financial summaries.

• Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and profit & loss statements.

• Handle trade finance activities, including Letters of Credit and Bank Guarantees.

• Assist in budget preparation, monitor spending, and maintain balance sheet reconciliations.

• Manage and record journal entries for asset, liability, and capital accounts.

• Provide regular financial insights and suggest strategic actions based on financial trends.

• Oversee accounts receivable, including issuing statements, payment follow-ups, and client visits if necessary.

• Process outgoing payments and ensure timely collection of receivables.

• Support tax filing and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.

• Prepare and publish timely financial statements while ensuring data security and backups.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or finance roles.

• Proficient in accounting software; experience with ZOHO and ERP systems is a plus.

• Solid understanding of UAE financial laws and tax regulations is advantageous.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• A valid UAE driving license is preferred.
