We are seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager – Contract Logistics (3PL) to lead and expand operations across the UAE. This senior leadership role offers full ownership of building, scaling, and optimizing multi-site logistics operations, with a strong focus on operational excellence, customer growth, and profitability.

You will play a critical role in transforming strategy into execution—overseeing people, processes, systems, and performance to deliver world-class logistics solutions in a fast-growing regional market.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full P&L ownership for the UAE Contract Logistics / 3PL business, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
• Oversee multiple sites across the UAE, including new site launches, ramp-up, stabilization, and scaling.
• Build, lead, and develop high-performing operational teams through coaching, succession planning, and performance management.
• Partner with commercial teams on client acquisition, solution design, pricing strategies, and proposal development.
• Design and implement efficient warehouse operations, including layout, labor models, and cost-to-serve optimization.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, service quality, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, quality benchmarks, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and facility partners.
• Lead strategic initiatives such as automation, system upgrades, and expansion into new verticals.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics to strengthen market positioning.

Success Metrics (OKRs)

• Successful and timely launch of new logistics sites within budget.
• High service performance (KPIs such as inventory accuracy, productivity, and service levels).
• Scalable and standardized operational processes and governance frameworks.
• Strong financial performance with effective cost control and margin delivery.
• Development of a capable leadership pipeline and team structure.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in contract logistics, 3PL, or warehousing leadership roles (multi-site experience preferred).
• Proven track record of managing operations and delivering commercial results (P&L responsibility strongly preferred).
• Deep understanding of warehouse operations, including inbound/outbound logistics, inventory control, and value-added services.
• Experience in supply chain design, including layout planning, labor modeling, and operational costing.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills with a practical, solution-oriented approach.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master’s degree is an advantage.
