Prowa, a Dubai-based investment holding company with a portfolio in energy, infrastructure, consultancy, and related services, is hiring a Business Development Specialist to expand its pipeline across the MENA region. The role involves market research, proposal preparation, cross-team coordination, and supporting negotiations, with a strong focus on opportunities in oil, gas, petrochemicals, trading, EPC, and adjacent sectors. The position reports to the Business Development Manager and requires frequent travel to Iraq and other project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and qualify opportunities across refinery, petrochemical, trading, EPC, and services in the MENA region.

• Prepare business plans, investment briefs, proposals, and presentations with clear and concise writing.

• Conduct feasibility studies and economic assessments under senior guidance.

• Maintain CRM pipelines, client records, data rooms, and version-controlled documentation.

• Prepare negotiation materials, meeting notes, and follow-up action trackers.

• Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Technical, and Operations teams to remove blockers.

• Produce research notes, weekly briefs, and executive-ready slide decks.

• Use productivity and AI tools to improve efficiency in research, reporting, and drafting.

• Support the Senior Business Development Specialist on ad hoc tasks and proposal milestones.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).

• 2–5 years’ experience in business development, sales, market analysis, or commercial roles within oil & gas, petrochemicals, chemicals, or trading.

• Experience with Iraq or the wider MENA market is an advantage.

• Strong MS Office skills and proven research ability to synthesize insights.

• Skilled in preparing proposals, reports, and client-facing presentations.

• Proficiency with CRM tools.

• High integrity, concise communication, adaptability under shifting priorities, and results-oriented mindset.

• Willingness to travel frequently to Iraq and other regional project locations.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with refinery and petrochemical products, supply chains, and sector dynamics.

• Practical use of AI tools for drafting and reporting.

• Arabic language skills.
