Job Description

Outlier is seeking talented Simplified Chinese freelance writers to help train generative AI models by providing human feedback, writing original content, and evaluating AI-generated text.

This is a fully remote and flexible freelance role, ideal for those who want to contribute to cutting-edge AI development on their own schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Rank AI-generated responses based on quality and accuracy

• Write short stories or responses in Simplified Chinese based on provided prompts

• Evaluate factual accuracy and fluency of AI-generated Simplified Chinese content

• Provide feedback to enhance AI language understanding and generation

Ideal Background

• Professional experience in translation, journalism, copywriting, technical writing, or editing

• Undergraduate or graduate studies in humanities, creative writing, linguistics, or related fields

• Native or near-native proficiency in Simplified Chinese

• Strong writing and analytical skills

Compensation

• Average pay: USD $20/hour
  (UK: ~£15/hour, Australia: ~AUD $31/hour)
