DGM Contracting LLC is looking for a Home Automation Engineer to join its team in Dubai. The role involves designing, installing, and supporting state-of-the-art smart home solutions, working directly with homeowners, architects, and contractors to deliver modern, intuitive automation systems. This position is ideal for professionals with proven expertise in residential automation platforms and a passion for integrating technology into everyday living.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automation systems for residential projects, including lighting, HVAC, AV, security, and IoT devices.

• Configure, integrate, and maintain systems on platforms such as Control4, Crestron, Lutron, KNX, or similar.

• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and contractors for seamless project execution.

• Handle on-site installation, testing, troubleshooting, and technical support.

• Prepare and maintain documentation, schematics, and system configurations.

• Train homeowners on system usage and provide after-sales support.

• Stay updated on latest smart home and IoT technologies to recommend new solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in residential home automation projects.

• Proficiency with at least one automation platform (Control4, Crestron, Lutron, KNX, etc.).

• Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems, networking, and system integration.

• Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.

• Excellent communication and client interaction skills.

• Strong organizational and project management abilities.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have):

• Certifications in automation platforms (e.g., Crestron, Control4, Lutron).

• Experience with wireless networking technologies (Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Z-Wave, Matter).

• Familiarity with energy management and sustainable smart home solutions.

• Programming or scripting skills for customization and integration.
