We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive IT Auditor (GRC) to join a leading audit and advisory firm in Dubai. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing IT systems, strengthening governance frameworks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

You will play a key role in identifying risks, evaluating internal controls, and supporting organizations in enhancing their IT governance and risk management practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct end-to-end IT audits focusing on governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
• Evaluate the effectiveness of IT controls, systems, and processes
• Identify vulnerabilities, risks, and control gaps within IT environments
• Recommend practical and scalable remediation strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulations and policies
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports outlining findings, risks, and improvement actions
• Support the development and implementation of IT governance frameworks and procedures
• Stay updated on emerging IT risks, cybersecurity trends, and regulatory changes

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in IT auditing, preferably within consulting, audit, or financial services environments

Certifications (Preferred)

• CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
• CGEIT (Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT)

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001, and SOX
• Understanding of IT controls, cybersecurity principles, and risk assessment methodologies

Core Competencies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, able to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
