We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant to join a growing retail business in Dubai with immediate availability. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who can quickly take ownership of financial operations and ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all accounting activities.

You will play a key role in managing daily financial processes, supporting cash flow management, and ensuring full compliance with UAE VAT regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records
• Oversee accounts receivable and actively follow up on outstanding payments
• Monitor cash flow and assist with financial planning and forecasting
• Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with UAE tax regulations
• Maintain clear financial reports, records, and documentation
• Coordinate with internal teams on payments, collections, and budgeting activities
• Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts and resolution of discrepancies

Requirements

Candidate Profile

• Currently based in Dubai and available for immediate start
• 3–6+ years of accounting experience within the UAE
• Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and UAE tax compliance
• Hands-on experience with Odoo or similar ERP/accounting systems
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to manage collections and follow up on receivables
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure
• Fast learner with a proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership
