We are looking for a detail-oriented Indirect Tax Associate (VAT) to join a leading finance consultancy team in Dubai. In this role, you will support clients with VAT compliance, reporting, and advisory services, ensuring adherence to UAE tax regulations while identifying opportunities for improved tax efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on VAT regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.
• Manage VAT registrations, return filings, and ensure timely submissions in line with UAE tax laws.
• Perform VAT reviews and audits to identify risks and enhance tax efficiency.
• Work closely with internal teams to support VAT planning and implementation strategies.
• Monitor regulatory updates and assess their impact on client operations.
• Prepare and review VAT-related documentation, including invoices, contracts, and financial records.
• Assist clients during VAT audits and coordinate with tax authorities when required.
• Contribute to training sessions and workshops on VAT topics for clients and internal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Experience in VAT compliance, indirect tax, or consulting—preferably within the UAE or GCC.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong communication and client management abilities.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office tools.
• Professional tax certifications are an added advantage.
