We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Finance Manager to lead the finance function for a business unit within a leading luxury retail group in Dubai. This role will focus on financial planning, performance analysis, and strategic support to drive business growth and profitability.

You will act as a key business partner to senior leadership, providing insights, forecasts, and financial guidance to support decision-making in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Support business units in preparing budgets, forecasts, and P&L projections
• Analyze financial viability of new investments and expansion opportunities
• Develop and contribute to long-term financial strategies (e.g., 3-year plans)

Reporting & Business Partnering

• Lead internal and external financial reporting processes
• Act as a financial advisor to senior management and business leaders
• Evaluate business proposals and assess their financial impact

Performance Monitoring & Control

• Conduct variance analysis against budgets and prior year performance
• Monitor cost structures, profitability, and operational efficiency
• Track capital expenditure and ensure alignment with budgets

Cash Flow & Operational Finance

• Review cash flow, stock levels, and working capital performance
• Monitor collections, payables, and overall financial health
• Recommend corrective actions to improve financial outcomes

Month-End & Financial Close

• Drive month-end closing processes and review financial statements
• Analyze trial balances and investigate variances
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data

Financial Modelling & Analysis

• Build financial models and perform scenario analysis
• Conduct IRR analysis for new stores, products, and investments
• Prepare management dashboards and performance reports

Process Improvement

• Enhance financial processes, controls, and reporting methodologies
• Implement best practices to improve efficiency and decision-making

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in finance, reporting, or FP&A
• Strong experience in financial forecasting, modelling, and consolidation
• Proficiency in SAP is mandatory
• Experience in retail or luxury sector is an advantage
