Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Workshop Electrician responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in vehicles, equipment, and workshop tools. The role includes performing preventive maintenance, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting efficient workshop operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles, equipment, and tools to identify electrical faults and required repairs.

• Diagnose breakdowns and determine whether parts should be repaired or replaced.

• Prepare measurements and specifications for spare parts and materials required for maintenance tasks.

• Ensure vehicles and equipment are fully functional before returning them to operations.

• Respond to work orders quickly and professionally.

• Perform routine electrical maintenance under the Preventive Maintenance Program.

• Maintain all workshop tools and equipment in safe working condition.

• Follow workshop safety standards, hygiene practices, and use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

• Keep materials, spare parts, and workspaces clean and well organized.

• Monitor building systems and electrical installations as assigned.

• Provide emergency maintenance services when scheduled.

• Comply with company environmental, safety, and operational standards.

• Follow job safety plans and permit-to-work procedures.

• Collaborate with technicians and other team members to complete assigned tasks.

• Support training and development of junior staff when required.

• Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors when necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in an industrial or workshop environment.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Good analytical, diagnostic, and reporting skills.

• Ability to identify problems quickly and implement effective solutions.

• Knowledge of environmental safety procedures and hazard awareness.

• Basic First Aid knowledge is preferred.

• Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage workload efficiently.

• UAE light vehicle driving license is an advantage.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
