About the Role

Chalhoub Group is looking for an experienced Lead Architect – Network & Infrastructure to join its enterprise technology team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

In this role, you will define and lead the technical architecture and transformation strategy for enterprise network and infrastructure platforms. You will play a key role in modernizing infrastructure through Infrastructure & Network as Code, automation, and cloud integration while ensuring high availability, security, and performance across a large retail ecosystem.

This position is critical in supporting scalable, secure, and reliable technology infrastructure across stores, offices, warehouses, and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and govern enterprise network and infrastructure architecture frameworks and standards across regional operations.

• Design high-availability and secure architectures for WAN, LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, and hybrid cloud environments.

• Serve as the technical design authority for infrastructure and network transformation initiatives.

• Lead the implementation of Infrastructure & Network as Code, enabling automated provisioning and configuration.

• Implement security-by-design principles, including zero-trust architecture, segmentation, encryption, and firewall governance.

• Design and maintain resilience and disaster recovery frameworks for business continuity.

• Mentor and guide network and infrastructure engineering teams across multiple regions.

• Collaborate with internal teams including Retail Operations, Cybersecurity, ITSM, Cloud Engineering, and telecom providers.

• Establish and track architecture KPIs such as uptime, reliability, security compliance, and automation efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in network and infrastructure architecture for large-scale distributed environments.

• Proven experience managing hundreds of distributed sites in industries such as retail, logistics, or multi-site enterprises.

• Advanced expertise in Cisco enterprise networking (WAN, LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, segmentation, automation).

• Strong experience with multi-cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, OCI, or Google Cloud.

• Deep knowledge of Microsoft enterprise technologies, identity platforms, and corporate network infrastructure.

• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, GitOps, and API-driven automation.

• Experience building CI/CD pipelines for automated infrastructure delivery.

• Strong understanding of security architecture, resilience engineering, and high-availability systems.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud networking specialization and hybrid connectivity design.

• ITSM automation using platforms such as ServiceNow, BMC, or Jira Service Management.

• Network testing and validation tools such as pyATS or Cisco automation frameworks.
