Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) Consultant with strong sustainability and ESG expertise to join a leading global technology consulting organization in Dubai, UAE.

This role combines advanced financial modeling, profitability analysis, and SAP PaPM implementation with sustainability reporting and ESG performance management. The ideal candidate will support organizations in designing and executing profitability models aligned with compliance, carbon footprint tracking, and sustainability frameworks.

You will work in a collaborative, multi-vendor environment and closely partner with sustainability and SAP EHS experts to strengthen ESG reporting and performance capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP PaPM solution design, configuration, and implementation initiatives.

• Develop business scenario modeling and simulations to assess profitability across product lines, customers, and KPIs including ESG metrics.

• Build and optimize cost allocation, profitability modeling, and financial reporting frameworks.

• Integrate sustainability drivers such as carbon footprint metrics into profitability models.

• Ensure compliance with financial and sustainability reporting requirements.

• Coordinate with SAP and non-SAP data sources to ensure accurate data integration and modeling.

• Collaborate with SAP EHS consultants to enhance sustainability and ESG reporting capabilities.

• Work in multi-vendor ecosystems and identify opportunities for extended digital transformation initiatives.

• Support business stakeholders in understanding profitability and sustainability performance insights.

Requirements

• 10–12 years of relevant experience in SAP consulting with strong expertise in SAP PaPM.

• Deep knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, costing structures, and profitability drivers.

• Proven experience in business scenario modeling and simulation.

• Understanding of ESG frameworks, sustainability compliance requirements, and carbon footprint data capture.

• Experience integrating sustainability metrics into financial performance management systems.

• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience working in complex, multi-vendor environments.

• Willingness to strengthen expertise in sustainability and SAP ESG reporting within a short timeframe.
