About the Opportunity

Quest Search & Selection has partnered with a long-established UAE furniture and lifestyle brand, renowned for its premium contemporary and luxury furniture collections and bespoke interior solutions across the Emirates.

We are currently seeking a Technical Manager with strong expertise in joinery and interior fit-out detailing, along with a solid understanding of GCC fit-out standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management

• Lead and manage the drafting team, ensuring effective workload allocation

• Monitor team progress and submit daily productivity reports

• Provide guidance and technical support to team members

Technical Drawing & Detailing

• Prepare, review, and approve shop drawings and production drawings

• Ensure high-quality joinery detailing aligned with project specifications

• Maintain accuracy and compliance with GCC construction standards

Project Coordination

• Coordinate closely with the Operations Manager on project requirements

• Ensure timely submission of all technical drawings

• Support production and site teams with technical clarifications

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all drawings meet quality benchmarks and regulatory standards

• Oversee revisions and updates to drawings based on site feedback

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in joinery and interior fit-out drafting

• Strong expertise in joinery detailing, materials, and production processes

• Good knowledge of GCC construction standards and specifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit or SketchUp is an advantage)

• Strong drawing review and coordination skills

• Proven team leadership and management ability

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
