About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Draughtsman to join our construction team in Dubai.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing precise structural drawings and technical documentation essential for the successful execution of construction projects. This role requires strong technical knowledge, accuracy, and close collaboration with engineers and architects.

Key Responsibilities

Structural Drafting & Design

• Prepare detailed structural drawings and plans using AutoCAD or similar CAD software

• Translate engineering concepts and calculations into accurate technical drawings

• Produce shop drawings, as-built drawings, and reinforcement detailing

Coordination & Collaboration

• Work closely with structural engineers and architects to ensure design accuracy and feasibility

• Coordinate with project teams to meet deadlines and technical requirements

• Participate in technical discussions and drawing reviews

Drawing Management & Compliance

• Revise and update drawings based on design changes or site modifications

• Ensure all drawings comply with UAE building codes and construction standards

• Maintain organized documentation of drawing versions and revisions

Project Documentation

• Assist in preparing project documentation and technical reports

• Ensure proper filing and accessibility of drawings and records

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Structural Draughtsman, preferably in the construction industry

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent drafting software

• Solid understanding of structural engineering principles and construction processes

• Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately

• Knowledge of UAE building regulations and standards (preferred)

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Good communication and teamwork abilities

• Diploma or certification in Drafting, Civil Engineering, or related field
