About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant (UAE Mainland) to join a fast-growing international trading and e-commerce company operating across multiple jurisdictions.

This is not a transactional bookkeeping role. It is a key compliance-driven finance position with direct impact on the company’s UAE and international financial structure. The successful candidate will take ownership of full-cycle accounting, VAT, and Corporate Tax compliance, while coordinating cross-border financial processes with external consultants.

Key Responsibilities

UAE Mainland Accounting & Compliance

• Manage full-cycle accounting for the UAE mainland entity

• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and reporting standards

• Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately and on time

• Prepare and manage Corporate Tax filings and supporting documentation

• Ensure strict adherence to UAE tax legislation and regulatory requirements

Audit & Regulatory Liaison

• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities

• Maintain organized financial documentation and reconciliations

• Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and records

Financial Controls & Strategy

• Support internal financial controls and process improvements

• Coordinate with management on tax planning and risk mitigation

• Identify compliance risks and propose corrective measures

International Coordination

• Support full-cycle accounting oversight for entities in Germany and the USA

• Coordinate with external tax consultants across jurisdictions

• Ensure structured financial reporting alignment across international operations

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Accountant in the UAE (Mainland experience required)

• Hands-on experience submitting UAE VAT and Corporate Tax returns

• Strong knowledge of UAE Tax Law and compliance framework

• Experience in trading, distribution, or e-commerce companies

• Ability to independently manage full accounting cycles

• Experience working in structured or international organizations

• Fluent English (written and spoken)

• High attention to detail and strong regulatory discipline

• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
