About the Role
The Associate Media Director – Integrated Planning will lead offline-driven media strategy and buying across a portfolio of clients, ensuring seamless integration with digital and broader communication strategies.
This role has a strong traditional media focus (TV, radio, OOH, print, cinema) while coordinating digital alignment with specialist performance and planning teams. The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and leadership capability to drive integrated media excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Offline Media Strategy, Planning & Buying

Lead offline media planning and buying across TV, radio, OOH, print, and cinema

Translate client briefs into insight-led offline media strategies and detailed plans

Develop media rationales backed by audience insights and research

Manage offline media budgets, tracking spend and ensuring cost efficiency

Support and participate in media negotiations with vendors alongside senior leadership

Ensure flawless campaign execution through planner and coordinator oversight

Monitor performance against agreed KPIs and benchmarks
Digital Media Integration & Coordination

Ensure digital strategies align with offline media direction

Collaborate with digital planning and performance teams to align audiences, messaging, and phasing

Provide high-level input into digital strategy without managing daily platform execution

Review digital plans to ensure alignment with overall media objectives

Support integrated reporting by connecting offline and digital performance outcomes

Stay informed on digital trends impacting offline effectiveness
Client & Business Management

Drive integrated media strategy across multiple accounts

Present offline-led strategic recommendations in client meetings

Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts

Support new business pitches and budgeting processes

Maintain strong communication with senior management regarding account health, risks, and opportunities
Vendor & Supplier Management

Maintain strong relationships with media vendors and suppliers

Stay updated on market developments and media opportunities

Ensure smooth coordination between vendors and internal teams
Team Leadership & Collaboration

Train, mentor, and develop planners, buyers, and coordinators

Ensure high-quality output across accounts

Promote a collaborative and performance-driven culture

Work cross-functionally with other department heads to identify integrated solutions
Requirements

5–7 years of experience in media planning and buying
-
Strong expertise in traditional/offline media channels
-
Working knowledge of digital planning and integration
-
Proven experience managing budgets and stakeholders
-
Strong presentation and negotiation skills

Experience managing and developing junior team members
-
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and commercially driven
