About the Role
The Associate Buyer supports the buying team in merchandise selection, assortment planning, and product lifecycle management.
This role combines analytical reporting, purchase order management, and cross-functional coordination to ensure timely, cost-effective product acquisition and successful launches.
It is ideal for an analytically strong professional at the early stages of their buying career who is passionate about luxury retail and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

Support merchandise selection and assortment planning

Collect and consolidate quantitative and qualitative data (sales, best sellers, stock coverage, performance metrics)

Create and manage purchase orders

Perform product data entry and maintain system accuracy

Track inventory levels and monitor stock performance

Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, marketing, and planning teams to ensure timely product launches

Prepare reports and presentations for internal reviews and buying meetings

Support cross-functional communication to optimise product acquisition and availability
What You’ll Need to Succeed

1–3 years of experience in a similar buying, merchandising, or retail support role

Strong analytical and numerical skills

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Strong organisational and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment
