About the Role

The Associate Buyer supports the buying team in merchandise selection, assortment planning, and product lifecycle management.

This role combines analytical reporting, purchase order management, and cross-functional coordination to ensure timely, cost-effective product acquisition and successful launches.

It is ideal for an analytically strong professional at the early stages of their buying career who is passionate about luxury retail and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Support merchandise selection and assortment planning

• Collect and consolidate quantitative and qualitative data (sales, best sellers, stock coverage, performance metrics)

• Create and manage purchase orders

• Perform product data entry and maintain system accuracy

• Track inventory levels and monitor stock performance

• Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, marketing, and planning teams to ensure timely product launches

• Prepare reports and presentations for internal reviews and buying meetings

• Support cross-functional communication to optimise product acquisition and availability

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• 1–3 years of experience in a similar buying, merchandising, or retail support role

• Strong analytical and numerical skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment
