A global power management leader is seeking an experienced MES Implementation Engineer to drive digital manufacturing initiatives at its new campus in Dubai. This role will lead the deployment, integration, and continuous improvement of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to enhance operational visibility, process standardization, and production efficiency.

You will play a pivotal role in aligning MES solutions with enterprise platforms such as ERP, Quality, and Planning systems while supporting the organization’s broader Industry 4.0 and digital transformation strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead MES implementation and integration across production facilities.

• Ensure seamless connectivity between MES and ERP systems (e.g., SAP), as well as Quality and Planning platforms.

• Configure MES modules for traceability, OEE monitoring, production reporting, and recipe management.

• Define MES standards, workflows, and governance frameworks.

• Manage MES-related projects, including planning, resourcing, timelines, and risk mitigation.

• Develop system integration documentation and data flow mapping.

• Act as the main liaison between MES vendors and internal stakeholders.

• Provide user training and support to drive adoption and compliance.

• Monitor system performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement enhancements.

• Track ROI metrics such as cycle-time reduction, efficiency gains, and cost savings.

• Ensure cybersecurity, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.

• Support change management initiatives to harmonize MES processes across production units.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.

• 7–10 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or MES environments.

• At least 5 years of project management experience.

• Hands-on knowledge of MES platforms such as Apriso, Dassault, Ignition, Synaptica, or similar.

• Strong understanding of ERP–MES integration and complex manufacturing workflows.

• Familiarity with Industry 4.0, digital manufacturing, and smart factory initiatives.

• Project Management certifications (PMP, Agile) are advantageous.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and change management skills.
