A leading luxury retail group is seeking a data-driven Online Merchandiser to enhance its digital customer experience in Dubai. This role focuses on optimizing the eCommerce journey through intelligent onsite merchandising, AI-powered personalization, and performance-led insights to drive engagement and conversions.
You will be responsible for ensuring customers discover the right products at the right time by refining search functionality, navigation, and category presentation while aligning closely with trading and commercial priorities.
Key Responsibilities:

Optimize onsite search, navigation, category structures, and product listings to improve discoverability and conversion.

Utilize AI-powered merchandising and personalization tools to deliver tailored product recommendations and experiences.

Ensure accurate product data and strong visibility across categories aligned with commercial goals.

Analyze key eCommerce KPIs such as conversion rate, click-through rate, bounce rate, and customer journeys to identify performance opportunities.

Translate analytics and insights into actionable improvements that enhance both UX and revenue.

Collaborate with UX, Product, Technology, Analytics, Buying, and Trading teams to implement site enhancements.

Support product launches, campaigns, and key trading periods with effective onsite merchandising strategies.

Conduct competitor benchmarking and research emerging technologies to drive innovation.

Contribute to trading reports, dashboards, and performance analysis.

Assist with digital transformation initiatives, including AI and personalization projects.
Requirements:

3–5 years of experience in eCommerce, digital merchandising, or site operations—preferably within fashion or luxury retail.

Strong understanding of product discovery, onsite search optimization, and category management best practices.

Hands-on experience with personalization platforms such as Dynamic Yield, Salesforce, Bloomreach, or similar tools.

Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), reporting dashboards, and Excel/Sheets.

Data-driven mindset with the ability to identify trends and generate actionable insights.

Experience collaborating cross-functionally with UX, Tech, Buying, and Trading teams.

Commercial awareness and understanding of customer behavior in online retail.

Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
