Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to support and maintain a growing fleet of electric trucks and trailers across the UAE. This hands-on role focuses on diagnostics, maintenance, and operational reliability of next-generation commercial vehicles, with future involvement in autonomous transport technologies developed in collaboration with Einride.

Key Responsibilities

Fleet Monitoring & Operations

• Track vehicle performance, uptime, and system health across the electric fleet.

• Monitor connected vehicle technologies and coordinate with operations teams to resolve issues proactively.

Field Service & Technical Support

• Diagnose and repair 24-volt electrical systems, onboard electronics, and mechanical components.

• Respond to breakdowns, emergency roadside repairs, and urgent service requests.

• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on 6×4 electric trucks and 40-ft skeleton trailers.

• Coordinate servicing schedules, parts logistics, and third-party maintenance providers.

Technical Documentation

• Maintain accurate service reports, diagnostic records, and maintenance logs.

• Provide technical feedback to improve fleet reliability and operational efficiency.

Travel & Collaboration

• Travel across the UAE and occasionally internationally for training or project support.

• Work closely with drivers, customers, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless field operations.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with heavy-duty trucks and trailer systems.

• Strong expertise in 24-volt electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.

• Solid mechanical knowledge related to commercial vehicles.

• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and operate diagnostic tools.

• Experience with trailers is highly preferred; electric vehicle experience is an advantage.

• Valid manual driving license (heavy truck license is a plus).

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.

• Willing to work flexible hours and attend emergency service calls.

• Must speak Hindi, Urdu, or Punjabi to communicate with drivers.

• Willingness to travel as required.
