Role Overview
A leading Design & Supervision Consultancy is seeking an experienced Civil & Structural Inspector to support mid- to high-rise construction projects in Dubai. The role involves ensuring that all civil and structural works are executed in compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and regulatory standards. This opportunity is suited to professionals with a strong background in site supervision within engineering consultancies or PMC environments in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and respond to Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by contractors in a timely manner.

• Verify shop drawings against contract documents, specifications, and local authority regulations.

• Inspect ongoing works to ensure compliance with approved designs and quality standards.

• Identify non-compliant activities and report them to project stakeholders for corrective action.

• Monitor construction quality, site safety, and environmental compliance in line with contractual and QCS requirements.

• Maintain daily site records, including activity logs and progress photographs.

• Prepare surveillance and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when required.

• Ensure coordination between civil, structural, and other project disciplines.

• Provide technical guidance to resolve on-site engineering and construction issues.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

• 8–10+ years of experience in construction supervision, particularly on high-rise building projects.

• Proven expertise in raft foundations, in-situ concrete works, and post-tension (PT) slab construction.

• Prior experience working with engineering consultancies or supervision consultants in the UAE is essential.

• Strong ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Immediate availability preferred due to the short-term project-based nature of the role.
