Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Supervisor to manage transportation planning, freight coordination, and customs processes for EPC oil & gas projects across Iraq and the UAE. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient shipment operations, cost control, and compliance with international trade regulations while supporting project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop transportation strategies and shipping plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.

• Select appropriate transportation modes based on operational and project requirements.

• Negotiate rates and contracts with international freight carriers and evaluate vendor performance.

• Monitor and track shipments, proactively resolving transit issues to prevent delays.

• Coordinate with freight forwarders to manage customs clearance, inspections, transit procedures, and bonded warehousing.

• Ensure compliance with international import/export regulations and trade documentation requirements.

• Minimize demurrage and detention charges through effective planning and coordination.

• Collaborate with project teams to support EPC project logistics requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant logistics experience, preferably within international EPC projects in the oil & gas sector.

• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and customs clearance processes.

• Experience in handling logistics for large-scale engineering or construction projects.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong coordination, negotiation, and teamwork abilities in multicultural environments.

Salary

AED 6,000 – 15,000 per month (inclusive of fixed allowances).
