Salary: USD 14,500 – 27,500 per month (inclusive of fixed allowances)

Annual Package: Up to USD 90,000 per annum + performance-related bonuses


Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Financial Crime & Risk Framework Consultant to join a leading advisory firm in Dubai. This client-facing role focuses on delivering financial crime, AML, and regulatory risk advisory services to banks and insurance companies across the GCC.

The position requires deep technical expertise, prior regulatory or consultancy experience, and fluency in Arabic to effectively engage with regional stakeholders and regulators.


Key Responsibilities

Financial Crime & AML Advisory

  • Deliver advisory engagements across AML, financial crime risk management, and compliance frameworks for banking and insurance clients.

  • Conduct comprehensive policy and procedure reviews to ensure regulatory alignment and operational effectiveness.

  • Advise on the development and enhancement of financial crime risk frameworks and governance structures.

Regulatory & Risk Consulting

  • Support clients in strengthening internal controls, compliance monitoring, and risk management processes.

  • Provide advisory support during regulatory inspections, assessments, and audits.

  • Engage directly with regional regulators where required.

Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Prepare detailed reports, recommendations, and board-level presentations.

  • Present findings and remediation strategies to senior management and compliance committees.

  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders across the GCC market.


Candidate Requirements

  • Prior experience working within a financial regulator or a consultancy advising on regulatory and compliance matters.

  • Strong technical knowledge of AML, financial crime risk, and compliance frameworks.

  • Experience conducting policy and procedural reviews for financial institutions.

  • Fluency in Arabic and English (mandatory).

  • Strong communication, advisory, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience within GCC markets preferred.
