IP Partner – Prestigious Law Firm | Dubai, UAE
A highly regarded international law firm in Dubai is seeking an accomplished Intellectual Property Partner to lead and expand its IP practice. This is a strategic leadership opportunity for a senior legal professional with a strong reputation in IP law and a proven ability to drive business growth within a competitive legal market.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s Intellectual Property strategy while advising high-profile regional and international clients across diverse sectors.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and grow the firm’s Intellectual Property practice in the UAE.

Advise clients on patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and IP enforcement matters.

Develop and execute business development strategies to expand the IP client portfolio.

Manage complex IP transactions, disputes, and litigation matters.

Represent clients in negotiations, dispute resolution, and court proceedings.

Mentor and supervise associates and junior lawyers within the IP team.

Collaborate cross-functionally with corporate, commercial, and litigation teams.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regional and international IP regulations.

Strengthen and maintain long-term client and stakeholder relationships.
Candidate Requirements

Qualified lawyer with substantial experience in Intellectual Property law.

Admission in a recognised common law jurisdiction preferred.

Proven track record at Partner level or as a senior IP lawyer within a reputable law firm (UAE/GCC experience advantageous).

Strong knowledge of UAE and international IP legal frameworks.

Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.

Strong client relationship management and business development skills.

Excellent negotiation, advocacy, and communication abilities.

Ability to thrive in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.

Relevant legal licensing to practice in Dubai is preferred.
Compensation
-
AED 50,000 – 90,000 per month (inclusive of fixed allowances).

Full-time position.
