Urban Vision is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Architect to join its multidisciplinary engineering consultancy team in Dubai. The successful candidate will support senior architects and engineers in delivering high-quality design packages from concept development through to construction documentation.

This role requires strong technical capability, regulatory awareness, and coordination skills to ensure compliance with local authority standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Technical Support

• Assist in the development of architectural concepts, working drawings, and 3D visualizations for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

• Prepare detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, and site layouts using Revit (BIM), AutoCAD, and BIM360.

• Produce high-quality presentation materials and renderings.

Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure all designs comply with the Dubai Municipality (DM) regulations, Dubai Development Authority (DDA) guidelines, and Dubai Civil Defence requirements.

• Assist in preparing authority submission packages, including coordination with Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA).

• Demonstrate familiarity with the Dubai Building Code and local permitting processes.

Coordination & Site Involvement

• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and civil teams to integrate technical requirements into architectural designs.

• Attend site inspections to ensure works are aligned with approved drawings.

• Support in resolving design-related site queries.

Material & Sustainability Input

• Research and propose materials and finishes aligned with project budgets and sustainability objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably within a UAE-based consultancy or construction firm.

• Advanced proficiency in:

  • Revit (BIM)

  • AutoCAD

  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign)

• Preferred knowledge of Rhino, SketchUp, V-Ray, or Enscape.

• Strong understanding of UAE building codes and authority approval processes.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
