A newly opening British curriculum school in Dubai, backed by a well-established education group with multiple successful schools in the region, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead and manage all human resources operations.
This role is critical to ensuring smooth school opening, regulatory compliance, and the development of a positive, professional, and supportive school culture.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding

Manage end-to-end recruitment for teaching, academic, and support staff

Coordinate onboarding processes, inductions, and employment documentation

Handle KHDA requirements including teacher permits, staff approvals, and qualification verification
HR Operations & Compliance

Oversee day-to-day HR operations including employee records, attendance, leave management, and payroll coordination

Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law, KHDA regulations, and internal policies

Maintain accurate and confidential HR documentation and reporting
Employee Relations & School Culture

Act as a primary point of contact for staff queries and HR-related matters

Support employee relations, conflict resolution, and grievance handling

Promote a positive, collaborative, and inclusive school culture
Performance Management & Development

Coordinate staff performance reviews, appraisals, and probation assessments

Support professional development, training initiatives, and staff engagement programs

Work closely with school leadership to support retention and workforce planning
Candidate Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Minimum 3 years of HR management experience in the UAE within a school or education environment

Strong knowledge of KHDA processes, teacher permits, and staff qualification verification

Working knowledge of UAE Labour Law and education sector HR practices

Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently in a start-up school environment

Preference for candidates of Indian, Filipino, or Lebanese nationality
