Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Department Supervisor to lead a sales team in delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving commercial performance. This role plays a key part in supporting store leadership through people development, operational excellence, and customer engagement initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Commercial Performance

  • Lead the department team to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators

  • Drive sell-through and revenue growth within the department

  • Support and implement in-store customer experience (CX) initiatives

  • Provide regular feedback on what is working well and where improvements are needed


Team Leadership & Development

  • Coach and develop team members through on-the-job training and stretch assignments, in partnership with the People Partner

  • Foster a positive team culture that drives engagement and eNPS results

  • Lead by example on the shop floor, setting standards in service, behaviour, and performance

  • Motivate and inspire the team through energy, presence, and clear direction


Customer Experience & CRM

  • Deliver a consistently high level of guest experience across all touchpoints

  • Support the implementation of CRM, CX, and loyalty initiatives in-store

  • Ensure accurate customer data capture in line with marketing requirements

  • Promote the loyalty programme (MUSE), ensuring strong product and app knowledge within the team


Operational Excellence

  • Oversee day-to-day departmental operations in line with retail SOPs and VM guidelines

  • Support store staff during in-store events and activations

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the department and back-office teams

  • Ensure click & collect orders are processed within agreed SLAs

  • Support effective scheduling and floor coverage to maximise performance


Candidate Profile

  • Experience in fashion or luxury retail, ideally in a senior sales or team leadership role

  • Confident, engaging, and coachable with a genuine interest in developing others

  • Strong client-facing presence, comfortable engaging with diverse customer profiles

  • Energetic, positive, and approachable, with the ability to set and maintain professional standards

  • Hands-on leader who brings enthusiasm and momentum to the shop floor

  • Ambitious and ready to grow into a broader retail leadership role
