Assistant CCTV Technician

Securi Tech Services is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant CCTV Technician to support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of integrated security systems across client sites in Dubai. This role is ideal for a technically inclined professional with hands-on experience in surveillance and security technologies who is looking to grow within a system integration environment.

The Assistant Technician will work closely with senior technicians to deliver high-quality security solutions that meet regulatory standards and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, testing, and maintenance of CCTV surveillance systems

• Support deployment of access control systems, GPS vehicle tracking systems, and related IT infrastructure

• Configure and troubleshoot IP cameras, video storage systems, and Video Management Systems (VMS)

• Assist with cabling, power connections, UPS systems, and basic network setup

• Perform routine system checks, fault identification, and basic troubleshooting

• Ensure installations comply with security standards, safety guidelines, and client requirements

• Maintain tools, equipment, and accurate job documentation

• Support on-site maintenance visits and emergency call-outs when required

Requirements

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical field (preferred)

• Minimum 1 year of experience in CCTV or surveillance systems

• Knowledge of:

  • CCTV and IP video systems

  • Intelligent video and video storage technologies

  • Command & control display systems

  • Video Management Systems (VMS)

  • General security system principles and practices

• Basic understanding of power systems, cabling, and UPS infrastructure

• SIRA or MCC certification is an advantage

• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory

• Willingness to work on-site and support field-based technical operations
