A well-regarded luxury residential architecture and interior design studio in Dubai is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to take full ownership of its technical delivery as the practice continues to grow.

This is a pivotal leadership role within the studio. You will lead the technical and CAD function, establish and maintain drawing standards, and ensure that the studio’s technical output consistently reflects the high level of design quality it is known for. The role suits a technically driven architect or interior specialist who enjoys setting standards, mentoring teams, and owning technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the studio’s technical and CAD team

• Establish, implement, and maintain drawing standards, templates, and technical workflows

• Oversee the production, coordination, and review of all technical drawing packages

• Ensure information issued to site is accurate, coordinated, and fully buildable

• Coordinate complex technical interfaces across joinery, finishes, lighting, MEP, and specialist packages

• Work closely with design teams and project leads to translate concepts into well-resolved technical documentation

• Support construction stages through RFI responses, technical clarifications, and shop drawing reviews

• Ensure design intent is maintained throughout construction and delivery

• Support leadership in improving studio processes, workflows, and consistency

• Assist in managing and enhancing Revit implementation and best practices across the studio

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Technical Manager, Technical Lead, or Senior Technical Architect/Designer

• Strong background in luxury residential architecture and interior design

• High level of technical detailing expertise and coordination capability

• Experience leading and mentoring small technical and CAD teams

• Strong understanding of construction detailing, materials, and buildability

• Confident technical decision-maker with strong organizational skills

• Calm, structured, and proactive approach to problem-solving

• Revit experience is highly beneficial, particularly in workflow and standards development

Salary

AED 30,000 – 35,000 per month (inclusive of fixed allowances)
