Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Client Development Manager to join a growing international law firm with a strong global footprint and expanding presence across the Middle East. Based in Dubai, this role supports both the Dubai and Riyadh offices and plays a key role in driving regional growth across multiple practice areas, including energy, technology, life sciences, construction, and projects.
As a core member of the International Client Development (CD) team, the successful candidate will work closely with partners, senior leadership, and global colleagues to deliver high-impact proposals, strengthen key client relationships, and support strategic business development initiatives across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Proposals & Pitch Management

Lead the end-to-end proposal and pitch process, including opportunity assessment, go/no-go decisions, scheduling, drafting, editing, and submission

Draft and edit high-quality business development materials, including capability statements, case studies, lawyer biographies, and client communications

Maintain proposal trackers, gather feedback, and deliver post-pitch analysis and insights
Client & Business Development

Support key client relationship teams in the Middle East and international clients targeting the region

Collaborate with partners and leadership to align proposals and BD initiatives with firm strategy

Assist with the integration of newly joined partners and lawyers into the Dubai office

Identify client targets, conduct market and client research, and support BD planning
Regional & International Coordination

Work closely with Client Development teams in Dubai, Riyadh, Singapore, and London

Manage procurement platforms, including registrations, renewals, and distribution of RFP opportunities

Coordinate regional submissions to legal directories, awards, surveys, and publications

Promote best practices in proposal systems and experience management
Events, Reporting & Special Projects

Plan and lead regional client events, seminars, sponsorships, and engagement initiatives

Capture post-event insights and evaluate impact

Prepare regular business development reports for senior leadership

Support cross-office and international CD projects as required
Working Conditions

Willingness to work overtime (evenings/weekends) to meet proposal deadlines

Occasional international travel may be required
Requirements
Essential
-
Bachelor’s degree
-
Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Proven experience managing complex proposals and pitches
-
Strong understanding of the Middle East market and regional business culture

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills

Highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Desirable

Experience in the energy, projects, or infrastructure sectors

Formal training in proposal management or project management
