Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially astute Commercial Analyst to support strategic decision-making and bid development across the GCC’s premier school transport and private hire sector.

This role plays a critical part in evaluating commercial opportunities for STS Group, a market leader responsible for the safe and timely transportation of over 90,000 students daily, alongside large-scale employee transportation projects. The successful candidate will deliver financial insights that directly support executive decisions and contribute to STS’s commitment to Safe, Timely, Smart service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial and commercial analysis for new business opportunities, tenders, and strategic bids

• Develop, review, and refine financial models in response to evolving market and business conditions

• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and commercial risks

• Prepare detailed bid documentation, financial reports, and presentations for senior management and executive review

• Support strategic pricing, cost optimization, and profitability analysis

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial strategy with operational objectives

• Contribute to project management activities related to commercial initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Master’s degree is highly preferred

• Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate finance or a similar commercial/financial role

• Chartered Accountancy (CA) certification is mandatory

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and accounting regulations

• Solid understanding of corporate finance principles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

• Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail

• High level of commercial awareness and understanding of market dynamics

• Strong communication and networking skills

• Self-motivated, independent, and results-driven

• Proven problem-solving, numerical, and technical skills

• Strong teamwork and stakeholder collaboration abilities

• Experience in project management is an advantage
