Job Overview

On behalf of our client, a globally established investment and asset management group, we are seeking an accomplished Group Finance Director to lead the finance function during an ambitious five-year growth and acquisition strategy.

Based in Dubai, this senior leadership role will work closely with the Chairman and CEO, shaping the financial and corporate strategy of the group. While the organisation operates internationally, its UAE office maintains a boutique structure, requiring a highly entrepreneurial finance leader who can balance risk with opportunity and drive sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall finance function and contribute to the group’s strategic direction

• Develop and implement group-wide financial plans, budgets, forecasts, and KPIs

• Oversee financial planning & analysis (FP&A) and provide commercial insights to support growth

• Manage financial reporting across all group entities, ensuring full IFRS compliance

• Lead financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments

• Play a key role in shaping and executing the group’s M&A and corporate strategy

• Partner with the Chairman and CEO on capital raising initiatives, including private equity, venture capital, and debt financing

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, investors, and external stakeholders

• Strengthen financial governance, controls, and risk management across the group

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a Finance Director / Group Finance Director within a complex, multinational organisation

• Extensive background in M&A, corporate finance, and capital raising

• Strong expertise in financial planning, analysis, and group reporting

• In-depth working knowledge of IFRS

• Exceptional leadership skills with a collaborative and commercially focused approach

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage at Board and investor level

• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Additional Criteria

• Willing and able to travel regularly to Europe and the USA

• No visa restrictions due to international travel requirements

• Candidates from English-speaking countries are preferred
