A construction company in Dubai is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair heavy machinery and trucks. The role requires strong technical knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, and electrical systems, along with hands-on troubleshooting experience in the UAE.

This position is ideal for technicians with practical field experience who can ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair diesel engines used in heavy equipment and trucks

• Inspect and maintain hydraulic systems, transmissions, and powertrain components

• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults efficiently

• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance

• Identify equipment issues and recommend repair solutions

• Ensure all repairs comply with safety and operational standards

• Operate heavy vehicles as required for testing and site support

Requirements

• ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician in the UAE

• Strong technical knowledge of:

  • Diesel engines

  • Hydraulic systems

  • Equipment and truck transmissions

  • Electrical systems

• Proven troubleshooting and fault-finding skills

• Valid UAE heavy vehicle driving license (mandatory)

• Good command of English (spoken and written)

• Ability to work independently and under site conditions
