ITALCONSULT is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to support the design, construction, and supervision of infrastructure works in Dubai. This role is suited to a senior professional with extensive experience in sewerage, drainage, irrigation, road works, and house connections, and a strong understanding of Dubai Municipality requirements.

The successful candidate will play a key role in emergency works, coordination with authorities, and technical follow-up across multiple infrastructure projects within the Emirate.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, supervise, and monitor civil infrastructure works including house connections, road works, and miscellaneous civil activities

• Develop design sketches, technical drawings, and engineering solutions as required

• Follow up on NOCs and coordinate with relevant authorities

• Oversee works related to sewerage, drainage, and irrigation networks

• Respond promptly to emergency works and urgent site requirements

• Coordinate with Dubai Municipality projects and liaise with stakeholders and the public when required

• Ensure works comply with approved standards, specifications, and safety requirements

• Support planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring activities

• Prepare technical reports, site documentation, and engineering assessments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university

• Minimum 15 years’ relevant experience in civil and infrastructure projects

• Complete knowledge of Dubai’s sewerage, drainage, and irrigation networks

• Proven experience handling emergency works

• Strong familiarity with all areas of Dubai and ability to respond immediately when required

• Proficient in engineering and drafting software, including:

  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and Primavera

  • SewerGEMS, InfoWorks ICM, or similar hydraulic modeling tools

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Valid UAE Driving License
