About FinKraft

FinKraft is a FinTech SaaS company building a Finance Operating System for the Travel and Hospitality ecosystem. We help large enterprises and ecosystem partners manage invoicing, indirect taxes (VAT/GST), payments, reconciliation, and compliance through deeply domain-led platforms.

As hotel technology landscapes evolve across PMS, CRS, POS, payments, invoicing, and e-invoicing mandates, FinKraft is building products that sit at the intersection of hotel operations, finance, and regulatory compliance.

Role Overview

This is a senior, domain-driven technology leadership role, not a traditional IT operations position.

You will act as FinKraft’s hospitality systems subject-matter leader, using deep, hands-on hotel systems expertise to shape product and platform design. Your role is to ensure that FinKraft’s products reflect how hotel systems actually work in real life—including constraints, edge cases, data gaps, and operational failures.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams to translate real-world hotel system behavior into robust, scalable, and future-ready SaaS platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Hospitality Systems Domain Leadership

• Serve as the internal authority on hotel technology platforms, including:

  • PMS (e.g., Opera / Opera Cloud or equivalent systems)

  • CRS, channel managers, and POS platforms

  • Hotel billing, folio, invoicing, and payment workflows

• Define how bookings, rates, folios, invoices, and payments truly flow within hotel systems

• Identify system limitations, inconsistencies, and edge cases that must be addressed in product design

Product & Platform Design Partnership

• Partner with Product Managers to define requirements grounded in real hotel system behavior

• Validate assumptions around data availability, accuracy, and system dependencies

• Review and influence PRDs, schemas, and integration designs from a hospitality systems lens

• Ensure workflows are realistic, adoptable, and scalable for hotel clients

Engineering Collaboration & System Design

• Work closely with engineering leads and architects to design integration patterns with PMS, CRS, billing, and payment systems

• Define data contracts, APIs, and reconciliation logic

• Anticipate scale challenges, failure modes, and operational risks

• Provide domain guidance during system design, development, and testing

Payments, Invoicing & Compliance Context

• Support product logic for:

  • B2B vs B2C invoicing scenarios

  • Corporate bookings, negotiated rates, and TMC-managed flows

  • VAT/GST and e-invoicing implications derived from hotel data

• Ensure alignment between hotel operational data and real-world finance and compliance requirements

Transformation & Future-State Design

• Modernize legacy hotel workflows into API-first, platform-driven systems

• Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and scalability

• Help design products that are resilient across geographies, brands, and hotel configurations

Candidate Requirements

Experience

• 10–16 years of deep experience in hospitality technology and hotel systems

• Strong exposure to PMS, CRS, billing, and payment workflows within hotels or hospitality groups

• Experience contributing to platform design, systems integration, or large-scale technology transformation initiatives
