We are looking for a motivated and skilled Junior Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a passionate culinary professional seeking to grow within a high-volume, high-standard kitchen environment, supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering exceptional food quality and memorable dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Kitchen Operations & Food Quality

• Support daily kitchen operations, ensuring food preparation meets established quality, taste, and presentation standards

• Assist in executing menu items consistently, following recipes and brand guidelines

• Maintain smooth service during peak periods by working efficiently under pressure

Menu & Culinary Development

• Collaborate with senior chefs on menu planning and execution, incorporating seasonal ingredients and creative ideas

• Assist in testing and refining dishes to enhance guest satisfaction

Hygiene, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment at all times

Inventory & Cost Control

• Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and ordering to reduce waste and control food costs

• Monitor ingredient quality and report discrepancies

Team Support & Training

• Support the training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff

• Promote teamwork, discipline, and a positive kitchen culture

Requirements

• Proven experience in a professional kitchen as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef

• Strong understanding of culinary techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Passion for culinary excellence and continuous improvement

• Flexibility to work rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays

• Culinary certification or hospitality qualification is an advantage
