Position Overview

Coffeemania is seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef to join its dynamic culinary team in Dubai. This role plays a critical part in supporting the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, maintaining exceptional food quality, and leading a high-performing kitchen brigade.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on culinary professional with strong leadership abilities, a creative mindset, and experience working in fast-paced, high-end hospitality environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef in overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations, staffing, and workflow

• Ensure all food preparation, cooking, and presentation meet brand standards, hygiene regulations, and food safety requirements

• Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends

• Monitor inventory, control food costs, and minimize waste through effective stock management

• Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen team members to enhance performance and professional growth

• Coordinate with suppliers and manage ingredient deliveries to ensure freshness and quality

• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen environment at all times

• Take full responsibility for kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef

• Uphold company values and contribute to a positive, collaborative kitchen culture

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in high-end restaurants or hospitality establishments

• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen operations

• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

• Creative approach with a passion for culinary excellence and innovation

• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

• Russian language skills preferred

• Available immediately or with a short notice period

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: AED 8,000 – 10,000 per month (inclusive of fixed allowances)
