Position Overview

Guildhall is supporting a leading international construction and engineering firm in the UAE to recruit an experienced QA/QC Manager for major infrastructure and civil engineering projects. This senior role is responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance and quality control systems across complex, high-value developments.

The successful candidate will ensure that all construction activities meet approved specifications, international standards, and regulatory requirements while promoting a strong culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC plans, procedures, and inspection frameworks for infrastructure and building projects

• Review and approve project drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and inspection test plans (ITPs)

• Conduct site inspections, quality audits, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to approved standards

• Identify, document, and manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective/preventive actions

• Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, consultants, and contractors to resolve quality-related issues

• Monitor subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and quality requirements

• Ensure all materials, workmanship, and construction processes meet approved quality benchmarks

• Prepare detailed QA/QC reports, audit findings, and quality documentation for internal and external stakeholders

• Lead, mentor, and train QA/QC team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline

• Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience in infrastructure and building construction projects

• Strong knowledge of international construction standards and codes (ISO, ASTM, BS, etc.)

• Proven experience in civil works, infrastructure, and building structures

• Excellent documentation, reporting, and record-keeping skills

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on multi-million AED infrastructure or large-scale building projects

• Ability to manage QA/QC budgets and coordinate with large, multidisciplinary project teams

• Prior experience in international or Tier-1 construction environments
