Position Overview
Chalhoub Group is seeking an experienced People Partner to provide strategic HR leadership across multiple countries and business units. Based in Dubai, this role partners closely with Divisional Heads and Managing Directors to translate business strategy into impactful people initiatives, driving organizational effectiveness, talent development, engagement, and a high-performance culture.
The role combines strategic HR partnering with strong operational governance in a complex, matrixed, and multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnership

Act as a trusted strategic advisor to Divisional Heads and Managing Directors across countries

Align people strategies with business objectives, values, and long-term growth plans

Translate business strategy into workforce plans, budgets, and organizational design initiatives

Lead organizational mapping, structure optimization, and scalability initiatives
Workforce Planning & Organizational Effectiveness

Own workforce planning and budgeting for both frontline and back-office populations

Drive organizational effectiveness initiatives, including role clarity, spans and layers, and succession frameworks

Support store openings, closures, and restructures, ensuring smooth people transitions and legal compliance
Talent, Performance & Leadership Development

Lead the National Graduate Programme to identify and develop future leadership talent

Oversee the end-to-end performance management cycle, ensuring consistency and objectivity

Partner with Learning & Development and HR Centers of Excellence to build critical capabilities

Facilitate leadership development, coaching, feedback, and succession planning for key roles
Employee Engagement & Culture

Drive employee engagement initiatives in partnership with People Experience & Culture teams

Analyze engagement survey results and implement action plans to improve engagement and retention

Champion Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, fostering a culture of belonging and inclusion
Employee Relations & Governance

Manage employee relations matters including grievances and disciplinary cases with fairness and confidentiality

Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and governance standards across all markets

Maintain a respectful, compliant, and high-trust work environment
Rewards & Retention

Lead rewards and recognition initiatives to motivate and retain high-performing talent

Ensure competitive, equitable, and market-aligned compensation practices
Candidate Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field (Master’s preferred)

8–12+ years of progressive HR experience, with strong exposure to HR Business Partnering

Proven experience in multi-country or regional roles within matrixed organizations

Demonstrated expertise in organizational design, workforce planning, talent development, and employee relations

Experience working in diverse, multicultural environments

Strong stakeholder management, influence, and communication skills
