Role Overview

Nurol LLC OPC is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to support its growing portfolio of infrastructure and superstructure projects across the UAE. This role is responsible for overseeing all commercial, contractual, and financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring strong cost control, contract compliance, and effective stakeholder coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in contract administration, claims management, and commercial strategy within the UAE construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and manage interim and final payment certificates for clients and consultants

• Administer, review, and negotiate subcontractor, supplier, and vendor contracts

• Evaluate variations, change orders, claims, and extensions of time, including commercial impact analysis

• Lead cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management for assigned projects

• Support project teams with contract interpretation, risk mitigation, and dispute avoidance

• Prepare monthly commercial reports, KPI dashboards, and cash flow forecasts

• Manage final accounts negotiations and close-out activities with subcontractors and suppliers

• Provide commercial input for tendering, bid preparation, and proposal evaluations

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, UAE regulations, and contractual obligations

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in commercial or contract management roles within the construction industry

• Prior UAE or GCC project experience is strongly preferred

• In-depth knowledge of FIDIC and other standard forms of contract

• Proven expertise in cost management, payment certification, claims administration, and risk assessment

• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage

• Solid understanding of UAE construction law and commercial practices
