Role Overview

Randstad is recruiting an accomplished Senior Design Architect to join a well-established architectural consultancy in Dubai. This role is ideal for a creative and technically strong architect who can lead complex design projects, inspire design teams, and deliver high-quality architectural solutions from concept through execution.

The current project portfolio is predominantly residential-focused, including high-rise towers, villa communities, and large-scale master-planned developments. You will play a key leadership role in shaping design vision, maintaining design integrity, and ensuring successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design process from concept design through schematic, detailed design, and construction stages

• Develop creative, functional, and sustainable design solutions aligned with client objectives and regulatory requirements

• Collaborate closely with engineers, planners, consultants, and clients to ensure integrated and coordinated design outcomes

• Prepare and present design concepts, drawings, visualizations, and presentations to clients and stakeholders

• Oversee design development and ensure adherence to approved design intent throughout project execution

• Conduct site visits to review progress, resolve design-related issues, and ensure quality compliance

• Coordinate with contractors and consultants to address technical and design challenges during construction

• Mentor and guide junior architects and design team members, maintaining high design standards and professional development

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery within agreed timeframes, budgets, and quality benchmarks

• Stay informed on architectural trends, materials, building technologies, and sustainability practices

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution

• Minimum 7 years’ professional experience in architectural design, preferably within a consultancy environment

• Proven track record of leading complex architectural projects with a strong design-focused portfolio

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite

• Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining design excellence

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities

• Fluency in English is required

• Professional architectural registration or certification is preferred

• Middle East experience is an advantage but not mandatory

Salary & Benefits

• AED 25,000 – 30,000 per month, inclusive of fixed allowances
