Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations within our manufacturing business in Dubai. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals looking to build a strong foundation in accounting, bookkeeping, and financial compliance.

The successful candidate will assist the finance team with transaction processing, record-keeping, reconciliations, and audit support while ensuring adherence to company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Record daily financial transactions and prepare journal entries.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and supporting documentation.

• Assist in maintaining general ledger accounts and basic reconciliations.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Support processing of supplier invoices, payment vouchers, and expense records.

• Record customer invoices, receipts, and payment allocations.

• Assist in tracking outstanding receivables and payables.

Reporting & Reconciliation

• Assist in preparing basic financial reports, schedules, and summaries.

• Perform simple account reconciliations under supervision.

• Maintain organized filing (physical and digital) of accounting documents.

Compliance & Audit Support

• Follow company accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

• Support internal and external audit activities by providing required documentation.

• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company guidelines.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of accounting experience are welcome to apply.

Skills & Competencies

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

• Willingness to learn and ability to work effectively within a team.

• Good communication and time-management abilities.

Salary & Benefits

• AED 2,500 – 3,500 per month, inclusive of fixed allowances.

• Full-time role based in Dubai, UAE.
