Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end project delivery within a regulated financial services environment. This role is responsible for managing technology-driven, compliance-focused initiatives while ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, operational priorities, and business objectives.

The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams, external vendors, senior stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery

• Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure.

• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and milestones.

• Apply PMP methodologies and best practices using tools such as JIRA for tracking and reporting.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to approved quality standards.

Stakeholder & Communication Management

• Collaborate with senior management, clients, vendors, and regulators.

• Gather and document business and regulatory requirements.

• Provide structured project updates, risk assessments, and progress reports.

• Support informed decision-making through clear reporting and analysis.

Regulatory & Compliance Oversight

• Ensure all projects comply with applicable financial regulations and internal governance standards.

• Coordinate with Legal and Compliance teams to obtain required approvals.

• Embed regulatory checkpoints and compliance controls throughout the project lifecycle.

• Adapt project plans to reflect evolving regulatory or market requirements.

Resource & Budget Management

• Plan, allocate, and manage internal teams and external contractors.

• Prepare and monitor project budgets and financial performance.

• Control costs and optimize resource utilization to achieve business objectives.

Technology & Systems Implementation

• Lead implementation and enhancement of brokerage and financial technology platforms, including trading systems, CRM solutions, and backend infrastructure.

• Coordinate with IT teams and vendors to ensure seamless integration, system stability, and regulatory compliance.

Risk Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate operational, financial, regulatory, and reputational risks.

• Maintain risk registers and implement mitigation and contingency plans.

• Evaluate the impact of regulatory changes or market volatility on project outcomes.

Client & Business Alignment

• Ensure project deliverables meet client expectations and business requirements.

• Maintain continuous communication and feedback loops.

• Resolve issues proactively and uphold service delivery standards.

Performance Reporting & Governance

• Define project KPIs and success metrics.

• Monitor progress through JIRA dashboards and performance reports.

• Present insights, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Business Continuity & Quality Assurance

• Support business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives.

• Ensure critical systems have tested recovery and continuity plans.

• Conduct post-implementation reviews and capture lessons learned.

• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery and governance processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification (preferred).

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, ideally within financial services, brokerage firms, capital markets, or regulated environments.

• Proven experience managing projects under financial regulatory authorities.

• Hands-on experience with JIRA or similar project management tools.

• Strong knowledge of project governance, budgeting, risk management, and compliance-driven delivery.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.

Salary & Benefits

• AED 1,000 – 15,000 per month, inclusive of fixed allowances.

• Full-time role based in Dubai, UAE.
