Role Overview
We are partnering with a prestigious Family Office based in Dubai to appoint an experienced HR & Payroll Specialist. This role requires the highest levels of confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism, supporting a complex payroll environment with diverse compensation structures and senior stakeholder engagement.
Working closely with the HR, Finance, and Senior Leadership teams, the successful candidate will take full ownership of the monthly payroll cycle while also supporting core HR administration activities. This position is ideal for a payroll professional who thrives in discreet, detail-driven environments such as family offices, semi-government entities, or holding groups.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management

Manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of salaries, allowances, bonuses, deductions, and reimbursements

Administer payroll in compliance with UAE WPS regulations, labour law requirements, and internal governance standards

Calculate end-of-service gratuity, leave settlements, and other statutory payments accurately

Maintain payroll records, audit trails, and supporting documentation to ensure compliance and transparency
HR Operations & Administration

Support general HR administration activities, including employee records management and HR documentation

Act as the primary point of contact for employee payroll and compensation-related queries

Coordinate closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy across systems

Assist in preparing payroll and HR reports for management review
Systems, Reporting & Compliance

Manage and maintain payroll data using HRIS platforms (Odoo or similar systems)

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc payroll and headcount reports

Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and best practices

Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and compensation information
Candidate Requirements

4–5 years’ experience in payroll or HR operations within the UAE

Prior experience in a family office, holding group, or semi-government environment is highly preferred

Exposure to both free zone and mainland payroll frameworks is advantageous

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Strong working knowledge of UAE WPS procedures, gratuity calculations, and labour law

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Hands-on experience with Odoo or similar HRIS/payroll systems
-
High attention to detail, discretion, and professional maturity
Salary & Benefits

AED 15,000 – 20,000 per month, inclusive of fixed allowances
