Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manager to lead the end-to-end operation and maintenance of a diversified energy asset portfolio, including solar PV plants, HVAC systems, and building energy infrastructure.
This strategic role focuses on maximizing asset performance, reliability, and lifecycle value while aligning O&M activities with energy efficiency, asset management, and commercial objectives across multiple sites in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Asset Management

Lead O&M activities for solar PV (rooftop & ground-mounted), HVAC systems, BMS, and energy infrastructure

Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, uptime, and lifecycle performance
-
Oversee CAPEX/OPEX planning, spare parts strategy, and long-term refurbishment planning

Ensure delivery of Energy Saving Measures (ESMs) and achievement of contractual energy savings
Solar PV Operations
-
Manage daily O&M of PV modules, inverters, transformers, SCADA systems, and balance-of-plant
-
Ensure achievement of generation targets, performance ratios (PR), availability, MTTR, and MTBF KPIs
-
Oversee real-time monitoring, fault detection, remote diagnostics, and root cause analysis (RCA)

Ensure grid code compliance, utility coordination, outage planning, and switching operations
HVAC & Building Operations
-
Manage HVAC operations, BMS performance, and energy optimization in commercial buildings
-
Implement preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance strategies using CMMS and digital tools
-
Apply advanced diagnostic techniques including thermography, IV curve testing, string monitoring, and analytics
Measurement, Verification & Reporting

Conduct Measurement & Verification (M&V) activities to validate energy savings and project performance

Generate periodic performance analytics reports covering degradation, downtime, PR, availability, and optimization recommendations
Leadership & Governance

Lead, coach, and develop multi-disciplinary O&M teams to ensure high performance

Manage manpower, materials, contractors, and vendors effectively

Ensure full compliance with HSE standards, electrical safety regulations, and UAE codes

Engage with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure alignment and delivery
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline

Professional certifications in Operations Management, Energy Management, or Asset Management are preferred
Experience & Technical Expertise
-
Strong experience in O&M management, particularly HVAC systems and energy efficiency projects
-
Proven expertise in solar PV systems, including operations, maintenance, and performance optimization
-
Hands-on knowledge of SCADA systems, remote monitoring platforms, and analytics tools
-
Experience with grid integration, electrical safety, and utility coordination
-
Ability to manage hybrid portfolios combining PV, HVAC, BMS, and energy efficiency assets

Additional Requirements

Hindi/Urdu oral communication required

Valid UAE Driving License – mandatory
Working Conditions

Office-based role with frequent travel to operational sites
